A very beautiful park with huge trees right in the middle of the city. There are statues of Akaki Tsereteli, Zakaria Paliashvili, Ishkhneli sisters and a Victory Monument. The square-shaped park was laid out in 1821. The breathtaking place of the city.

The Central City park is a small but peaceful public space in Central Kutaisi. The park is close to Colchis fountain and Meskhishvili Theatre and all the central attractions, it is surrounded by a lot of traffic but is definitely a lot quieter once in the park but doesn't completely blot out traffic noise. The park has a lot of greenery and its fair share of statues, there are also a lot of seats which is great after a long day of sightseeing. A nice little park worth visiting whilst in Kutaisi

This is a small and lively park on Kutaisi with quiet a few monuments which are relevant to Kutaisi and Georgian history. You can spend few quiet moments here if you want or just walk a few steps to the Green Bazaar oryou can exit to Colchis fountains,

Fir trees, deciduous trees and even palm trees are providing lots of shade in this central space in Kutaisi's old town. Bordered by roads with motorized traffic, a square and a theater, this city park still is fairly peaceful and quiet. In the 1800s it was the domain of the daugher of one of the Imereti kings. Later it became a public park and during Soviet times the colonnade at the entrance and new sculptures were added.
I liked the fact many different kinds of people use the park: ladies who sell popcorn, old men meeting up, children playing near the fountain, a businessman making important calls, youngsters teasing each other. For some reason no bomzh or drifters.
For me the most remarkable sculpture is the one of the four sisters singing and playing guitars: the Iskhnelebi sisters were very popular during the great patriotic war cheering up the troops. Perhaps a bit the Georgian equivalent of the Andrew sisters. A street near Bagrati cathedral, the neighborhood from which they hailed is named after them.

Not a big park, but nice and shadowy. Nice to sit, relax, observe locals on their ways. Some statues around and a restaurant in the middle.

To escape the people and the traffic this park provides a wonderfully peaceful haven. Where are some exciting statues dotted around, plenty of benches to rest on, shade, loos and an excellent cafe/restaurant.

This is a nice green space with big trees and plenty of statues to photograph. You'll probably have a dog escort on your walk through.

Coming from Agmashenebeli Square I discovered the special atmosphere reigning in this park. We had a picnic there, during which I watched all the passers-by, i.e. tourists, local people young and old, lovers, fathers with their children who wanted to drive plastic cars in the little square of the park. There is something like a tea house, the loos of which you can use.
I enjoyed the stay in the shadow of the park very much and would have remained seated on a bench in contemplation if I had not had to visit another sight. By the way, you can walk around the paths and get to know several ladies made of stone. Of course, this "girl group" is the proof of what I have said on many an occasion: the Georgians are extremely keen on statues! Have a nice break in Central Park!

There is not anything special but it is definitely a good place when you want to have a rest during your stay in Kutaisi.

This is a small park in the central part of Kutaisi. There are a few statues to look at and it's close to the town hall and the Colchis fountain. Might be worth a quick look when you're in the area.
