Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It is as interesting as it is long.
White stones and some very pretty building alongside. A white a bit scare bridge to walk over and so many more to cross.
Some very simple and worn down building as well there.

With over 320 km the wild Rioni river is Georgia's longest. It drains the whole western Transcaucasus into the Black Sea. Kutaisi is the most important town on its banks. At Poti on the coast it flows into the sea. Though it can significantly increase in size during periods of rain, it is not navigable. The river used to be flowing through an area with many swamps, but most have been drained and are now suitable for agriculture. A trail following the river from its origin in the Racha area of the Caucasus mountains to the sea does not (yet) exist.
A nice loop along the Rioni near Kutaisi is to walk to the Botanical gardens on its westside, continue until there is a small dam (Gumat Hes), cross and return to the city by the east bank (5 km in total).
