Don't get me wrong, this is a beautiful walk. However, for the mobility impaired caution is needed. Do wear sensible shoes (which I didn't). Enjoy!

What a lovely experience walking around in this reserve and the views were just fantastic. Good shoes is a must. Do read the story behind the reserve as well.

Just on the road towards the beach, go past the little red cabins and piers and you will find an amazing swimming area! Feels like meditaranian!

This is a very pleasant walk through the pink granite hills on the edge of the sea in Lysekil. We watched the sunset 2 nights from here. When the weather is warm, it is very pleasant. When the cold wind is blowing off the sea,...More

A place to walk on and under huge granite slabs, wonder at trees grown with practically no soil to spread their roots into and, if you get lucky, see wolves. Don't worry, though, you're in no danger! Then, after clambering between walls of stone, there's...More

This beautiful place was destined to disappear due to stone quarrying until Mrs Calla Curman had the foresight to buy the land in the early 20th Century and establish it as a nature reserve. I never tire of enjoying the walks. The scenery always changes...More
