Unfortunately the hurricane destroyed all the interpretive signs around this old sugar factory and steam engine graveyard. SO you need a guide (or a mechanical engineer) to help you understand the machinery. Definitely worth a visit though.

Rode with the engineer Santiago in the locomotive with 5 others from my group. He let me pull the cord and toot the horn before crossings. What fun!

Not worth the time for the sugar cane trip. It is not even a farm, just a museum with some abandoned machines, and the clerk spend time explaining how things work. No hands on demonstration.

If you like old trains, these mothballed steam trains are a delight. Attached to an old retired sugar cane factory, it made for a interesting stop after getting there on a 100 year old steam train.
