Palolem is most beautiful and cleanest beach in all of Goa, located in South Goa 37 KM from Madgaon. Agonda is a is a nice long pristine stretch of beach, great spot for sunbathing, relaxing and swimming, with still relatively less crowd. It is ideal place for those who want to relax and have peaceful time. Very clean and serene... More

This beach is very peaceful and less crowded unlike the other beaches in Goa. The beach has got some of the best shacks and cottages. Good place for a relaxing holiday

If you have had enough of the ever crowded beaches in North Goa and are looking to relax in a beach minus the crowd, Agonda beach in South Goa is very good option. If you are taking an bus from Mumbai, you need to get down at Madgaon and take a rik/tax/bus to Agonda which will take approx 1 hour.... More

It doesn't have the aqua blue of many of the Caribbean beaches I have been to. It has things that the Caribbean doesn't have. It's still rustic and affordable. It's not gotten too far into development and I hope it doesn't for years to come. It's a long and walkable beach with simple beach bars dotting the shoreline. The cows... More

This is one of the hidden beautiful beaches in South of Goa. A lot depends on your taste but you would live it if you like the following: - Clean white sand - Clear Water - Exceptionally not crowded at all - peaceful There is not much commercialisation in this part of Goa and there are limited Shacks. One the... More

The long sheltered beach of Agonda is well worth a visit ,very clean with generally friendly beach shacks to sip a lemon soda or a cool beer - very chilled out , much more so than the packed beaches of the Northern Goa coastal strip . Be careful though of undercurrents when swimming/bathing .

Agonda has to be one of the quietest beaches in Goa still. There are more and more accommodation places creeping up the beach but the fact that they are all low rise keeps the laid back atmosphere and it retains it's quiet magic. Well worth staying there and visiting Palolem unless you want the party scene

Gorgeous beach, with laid back approach, with fantastic arrange of beach huts and restaurants. We recommend Seaesta Seaview Cottages and the Green Valley Tibetan Kitchen for the food and service.
