The location of the vineyard is unique, just on top of a hill. There is the possibility to stay for the night, as package with the wine tasting. I truly recommend this, beacause there are some apartments with very beautiful furniture and views, you wouldn't believe you are in the countryside. Winetasting very interesting, also strolling around the domain, we could also play tennis. On request, we could also have dinner. Unique place to visit, never expected to see this in the countryside

A perfect get away, only 3 hours drive from Bucharest. We were lucky enough to enjoy a beautiful late fall weather during the vineyard tour. Also I totally recommend the sampling of wines (two whites, two reds and one rose). The room we’ve stayed in was great but the apartments on top of the wine cellar would have been perfect as they offered beautiful views. The only thing not raising to the expectations was the food but there is always room for improvement.

This wonderful place really impressed me. The investment is impressive, the location of the wine cellar is very good, with a wonderful view over the valley of Olt river.
The tasting made by the owner of the place, Professor Valeriu Stoica, was passionate about the wine world and the world of the pie.
Unfortunately, there are also some shortcomings in terms of tourist services: the rooms are comfortable, but they do not amount to the investment in the wine cellar or in the renovation of the mansion and the arrangement of exterior spaces; the food is cooked modestly, though with good quality ingredients.
I recommend the Avincis wine and this wonderful place, where I think the more tourists will be, and the more lovers of the wine world will have the services to grow.
I expect to come back as soon as possible

We recently visited Avincis and spent Saturday night there - we had one of the worst experiences ever in terms of customer service.
1. Despite the fact that we were 8 persons - we were never informed upon booking the rooms there that they close everything at 9 (literally everything!) and then one is supposed to stay isolated in his room; there is no lobby, no reception etc as the rooms have entry directly from outside and the dinner room which is also the tasting room as we found out was closed at 9pm sharp; so imagine going in a remote place to spend a nice Sat evening with your friends and be forced to call the night at 9?!
2. We got there at approx 5pm and we were greeted by Mr Mihai who right after introducing himself informed us that there’s an electric fence surrounding the property after a certain hour. That s it - no further details, just that - very warm as you can imagine. And that came right after his informing the friends that got there 30min before that they close at 9, they don t serve anything (no other drinks / juices etc) bc that s not a restaurant - just like that
3. We assumed the 9pm closure Mr Mihai mentioned referred to the wine cellar and tasting room and not to the entire facility. Not that we would have had alternatives - we had to pay fully prior to our visit.
Anyways, we were rushed into tasing and dinner from 7pm until 9pm sharp - and then we asked Mr Mihai if we could stay and chat amongst ourselves until later - and that was one big mistake. He became really aggressive - on a very unprofessional tone said he had told us they close at 9pm(indeed, after our arrival there and without being specific that everything shuts down); that he had to get up early to accommodate our wine tasting and we were not appreciative of that?!?!; that we had been aggressive to him right from the moment we had arrived?!?!; that he was not there to sort of entertain us and that he had done his job and he did not care that we had no clue they would leave us literally on the outside. And that he didn t care and he wanted us to leave the dinner room so he could go home.
Never ever in my life have I seen such an aggressive person working in hospitality, be it in Romania or abroad.
It s a shame of the beautiful location and the investment they made there - it is obvious they really do not care about hosting people there and I don t understand why they keep it open for overnight guests. They should limit to wine tasting tours. Everything there is cold and unpleasant when it comes to spending the night, starting with the cold, unfriendly person that greets you and ending with the forced shut down at 9pm when you need to go close yourself in a room decorated with ceramics and glass. i can imagine in the summer this is less of a problem as you can chat outside but in the fall...
We had visited them 5years ago only for wine tasting and we thought what a wonderful place to spend the weekend but after this experience I never want to hear about them again.

A very nice place to spend the weekend in silence with good food and wine. The rooms are cosy and well equipped.

What a wonderful place! Beautifully renovated Manor House beside the vineyards. The wine is amazing and the staff are wonderful and speak very good English. We will definitely be back!

We have been 10 families, spending there a weekend, including a wine tasting, breakfast and dinner. Our POC was Bianca whom, together with her team did everything for us to have one of the best weekends we ever had. We have been lucky to have a late autumn sunny weather, enjoying the morning coffee on the terrace overlooking the Olt Valley and the evenings charmed by the autumn colours of the hills in the sunset. And all this is possible due to the fact that the entire complex have been thought, designed and developed in a unitarian concept by architect Alexandru Beldiman.
Avincis is a family business, developed with own financing, offering accommodation in 9 double rooms, 2 apartments with 1 bedroom and 1 apartment with 2 bedrooms.
Even if it's rated at 3*, it could be easily included at 4*. Each room has own bathroom (equipped with top sanitary items) and a dressing space, fridge, cable TV, wireless internet.
Be aware that, from Dragasani, there are 2 roads heading there. One of them is not so good, so you should follow the indicating signs posted on the national road.
The dinner and the wine tasting (including 5 wines) were very appreciated by everybody.
I would say you shouldn't miss this experience, especially if you like a good wine!
Thank you, Bianca and your team!

We went especially for the wine tasting but the overall experience was really nice. The achitecture, both old and new, the wineyards near the Olt river that you can see and the smell of grapes made us put this location in our top choices for our next visit in the zone. Of course we bought some bottles for a late, home winetasting :)
