Surfers paradise but also good for bathers. There is a charge to walk down to beach. Plenty of monkeys at ticket booth and temple half way down. Please note that steps are many and steep. Although there is a handrail, folk with any leg issues...More

Breathtaking spot. Unfortunately no waves during our visit but still a must see. Worth the walk and stairs..

The dash to catch the sunset at Uluwatu temple meant there was very little opportunity to make it to this beach... Stunning views from atop the temple, alas.. couldn't make it down..

If you are after surf, check the tide. If you wanna just hang around it is better to go when the tide is low. Then this place changes into lovely rock pools. Amazing sunsets, can buy beers from locals there. Good to take reef shoes...More

What a fascinating place! I manage to snag a parking spot in the scooter parking lot, then head towards the beach, which is tantalisingly close. Take care walking down the fairly steep steps between the houses, bars and cafes, all which have a small verandah...More

The Ulu watu Bali Beach is a convenient place for you to visit, cheap admission, safe place and place to sunbathe if you like. This place is very safe and comfortable and cool because it is surrounded by beautiful hills and friendly people
