Just had a terrible experience with this store. The only thing they care about is to get your money. they don’t care whether I get the product. I am already waiting more then a month. Never seen such a rude attitude in my life. I would not expect such a treatment from a store that suppose to be humanitarian and... More

Went to this shop because friends had vegan shoes purchased here. They are definitely cute shoes but this does not justify the price and lack of after sale service. I ordered mine in store to be posted but upon arrival, one of the shoes had a nail sticking through into the inside of the shoe (ie unfit for purpose as... More

I've never been a customer so can't review this shop's products. But I want to say I'm glad this shop exists and I'm glad it keeps on going. I take a quick appreciative glance at it whenever I go by in the tram. And I'm glad the old-style shopfront has been retained.

I had heard good things about their products so I purchased a pair of shoes for $250 but they kept huring my feet even after trying to wear them in for ages. They offered to fix the shoes but that didn't fix the issue. In the end I was told they can't even exchange them for another pair because I've... More

I bought a pair of shoes at Vegan Wares after I was diagnosed as being allergic to the chromate used to tan leather. I found the service to be very good. Yes, the shoes are expensive. They are expensive because they are made here, in Australia, and not in some exploitative sweat-shop in Asia where the shoemaker would be paid... More

got a pair of Charcoal Desert boots over a year ago and couldn't be happier! Price was fair for quality cruelty free, locally made shoes. In regards to reviewer stating that Big W shoes are cheaper, they are made in sweat shops, in abhorrent conditions and from terrible materials. The staff took the time to help me customise the shoe... More

The Vegan Wares shoes are designed and made on site. They are going to cost more than target accidentally vegan shoes as they are made in Australia by adults who are paid a fair wage. The other reviewers are obviously missing the point of ethical shopping. I have had nothing but positive things to say about vegan wares, I have... More

Their vegan leather is average and overcharge! Agree with the reviewer above. So many other establishments to visit. Avoid.

Overpriced products and seriously stiff and inflexible service. Being a cruelty free company one would think these guys would run their business ethically and geared towards providing good customer service. To send shoes they charge $22 (cost of vegan shoes you can now buy at Big W, Target and Kmart - not marked as vegan, instead non-leather) and included in... More
