Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a super chateau for a wine tasting. The chateau has been in the same family since the early 19th century. The wines are very good and our host, Jacky, was a superb and enthusiastic presenter. If you enjoy degustations, you should also try the Chateau de Fuisse, only 3 kilometers away.

Very nice home. Tasting of the property's wine possible, and subsequently purchasing white, red or rosé wine.

So we drive from Belgium to the south of France to visit vineyards and decided to make a stop at the Chateau de Chasselas. Not planned just a spontane visit, two cars, 8 people (6 Chinese) and looked at Tripadvisor where to go. The high rating made us belief we were on the right track. Nothing more true. They were expecting another group at the same time (who hadn't arrived yet) and we were told we could go to the shop. An uninterested employee went with us and let us look around, finally offered to taste some wine if we wanted. We got the worse wine of the house and almost spit it out so awful it was. No further interest to demonstrate, explain and or show any of the estate. So pretty from the outside but hideous within. NEVER AGAIN

Beautiful château. Tour guide very uninterested. Tasting ok, but again very uninterested personel. Good wines, although slightly overpriced.
