Place may have historic value. It said that there was a bishnu temple nearly 1000 years back along 4 other temples. Now a days only ruins are there as the temples were broken by earthquake.

I visited around 10 am and there is not a human being. rather I saw many goats eating grass. this place some history and some nice sculptures about 1000 yrs old but no security guard of any kind. Small 10 min visit suffices . just...More

Uphill nearby the brahmaputra river in the silence of the nature and in a beautiful forest it is possible to walk thru ancient ruins. It is a very captivating place. What a charming experience!!! It has been worth it! Sabrina torino italy

The ruins of Bamuni Hills are resemblance of the Gupta period art during 8th 9th era.Enjoy the peace of history and calmness.This ruins was preserved and maintained by Archeological survey of india now.

Remains from the Gupta Period. Do visit, it 9-10 century ruins. Just behind is the residence and office of the ASI, if you need to collect some publication that's the place. its a lovely place. enjoy the peace of history and a calmness!
