Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A Craft Center here produces fine woolen carpets in various colorful designs.
It is worth visiting place because of the collection of huge scriptures, books, gold lettered Buddhist scriptures, images and tapestries. The Parkhang Hall of the monastery has the library with the rare hand-written and block-painted thankas or manuscripts of revered books like Tangun, Kangyur and Sungbhum

its a perfect place to witness authentic Tibetan craft using centuries old techniques, which is not there in Tibet also.you can witness people really making those crafts in front of your eyes.
You can buy TANKHAS,STATUES,INCENSE,and OTHER BUDDHIST RELIGIOUS ITEMS,
It sells a lot more things but specializes in these, as AUTHENTIC TIBETAN CRAFTS are only made at 4/5 places in INDIA and 1-2 places in NEPAL.
its A MUST GO IF YOU GO TO Tawang.

We did visit this place as part of the ladies' itinerary; believe me, even they were totally disheartened. The Centre does not have anything visually attractive to a visitor. In fact, it has more non performing staff than artisans. Even the quality of artefacts left a lot to desire. JUST SKIP this place unless you need to be disappointed

wonderful collection of handicrafts being sold in the outlet.
they make the stuff a couple of kilometres away.
the pricing is also quite reasonable, for anyone wanting to buy genuine, authentic hand crafted pieces

You see the Tribals and their art unchanged over 1000 yrs. The tribal attire with their Yak hair dress complete with the flat machette on hips. Meeting them, talking to them, listening to their historical lores plus their handicrafts made from natural resources is amazing. Its surprising that these people know conservation of nature from ages back 1000 or more years which we are yet to learn. No pollution by our civilized community please. Dont even throw a candy wrapper there. Carry it back. Switzerland will stand second to our country.
