Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This micro-winery is a total gem, producing high quality wines from rare local Kakotrigis (white) and Skopelitiko (red and rosé) Corfu grape varieties. The husband-wife team of Sotiris and Irini Leivadioti have been perfecting wines made from the same two grape varieties for 30 years. The white wine has notes of jasmine, green apple and citrus peel that linger for a long while. The red wine is surprisingly complex and elegant for a young wine, with notes of ripe red fruit, pepper, star anisseed and licorice with a very long finish. Both wines are relatively low in alcohol, making them enjoyable even in Corfu's famously hot and humid weather. The winery is located on the only good road to one of Corfu's nicest beaches (Chalikounas) and just a stone's throw from Gardiki Castle, a 13th Century Byzantine castle. I highly recommend the wine and the very knowledgeable hosts, who speak English and French in addition to Greek.

Sept 2015 • Friends
our local friends had their regular winery, they came to buy when it was right season. this year in September we were lucky to see the process of making wine and tasting their wine and really eating their grapes! they were the most relax and really nice people to be with. they all were like Dionysus team that we just happened to meet and be friend with.
they didn't try to say much about family treasure but their wine were WOW, red, rose and white were so fresh and aromatic and impress!
none of them tried to say anything about how great their wine was, in fact all of their wine were excellent and they grew their own grapes and all organic. it was truely labor of love and passion to make indeed.
needless to say except looking forward to go back and drink their wine again. also they only distribute at their local grocery shops within corfu maybe only in their village. Just because they wanted us to taste the fresh real wine...
September is the time!
