Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We loved our afternoon here. Huge variety of instruments in all sorts of shapes and sizes! All fully restored and playing beautifully. Informative tour followed by yummy cake.

There is a great variety of musical machines to be observed & listened to in two main areas, they are all demonstrated in turn & any curiosities explained. Children especially will be fascinated in the moving figures that adorn some of the instruments. A bonus is the very reasonably priced tea & cake bar, most welcome! Something a bit different & great fun!

Enjoyed a wonderful private visit to the Grange Musical Collection.
We received the warmest of welcomes and I would be delighted to recommend this first-class venue to individuals and groups.
It was a marvellous experience to see and play the Mighty Wurlitzer originally installed in the Granada Theatre in Slough.
Many Thanks to Johnny Ling for his welcome and kindness - you deserve much success in your enterprise.
Thanks also to Grant Pilcher for his hospitality.
PAUL KIRNER.

An excellent and informative trip. All instruments well demonstrated , portrayiong vividly the development of mechanical music right up to the continetal street organs and cinema organs such as the Compton and Wurlitzer. The final short concert on the Compton helped to relive the golden age of cinema /music. There are not many open days in a year-it really is a "must go to" place, Graham

Our WI group visited the collection this afternoon 6 Aug and had a brilliant time. Jonny play quite a few of the instruments and his colleague played the hugh organ. It was interesting learning about the different musical instruments, some are two hundred years old. Apparently the collection is growing so will pay another visit sometime in the future. Plenty of parking.

The venue houses a diverse collection of mechanical instruments from music boxes to large street and cafe/dance organs. The collection and setting are a work in progress with instruments being acquired and re-arranged on site. This is an important collection from the point of view of the enthusiasts of mechanical musical instruments. Diss is not very far away and it is worth checking if the collection is open for viewing if you are visiting the local area.
