Lovely place to fish, camp and spend time. Camped 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed time there, with plenty to do on site, or local walks and cycles. Fishing is great. Also enjoyed the café.

Absolutely terrible attitude by your bailiff - get yourself some customer service or you will loose loose custom - such a shame used to be such a lovely place even the camping is rubbish
Oh well I will find another lake who appreciate the fisherman rather than have a title of bailiff means you can bully people

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I have spoken to our bailiff team and no-one has any recollection of talking with you, so I'm sorry, I'm not sure who you spoke to.

When we arrived the sun was shining and first impressions of the location was good. But as for fishing not so positive im afraid.

We booked to stay on the main lake so we could fish during our stay and this was the main reason for the stay. It was a birthday present brought by my wife. Unfortunately this was a huge disappointment after fishing for 48hrs with two rods we only had one bite and the fish was less than 0.5lb... I watched and only one angler caught one fish the whole time and the lake was busy.

I live not to far away so have fished the match lake and caught 20 carp in a day session so these lake are well stocked. But if you are looking to stay on the large specimen lake and not keep moving your stuff I would not recommend if your hoping to catch.

The cafe was only open to 3pm due to chef shortages but the facilities had organised fish and chip van on the Friday night and a pizza van on a Saturday night which was fine.

Prices are quite high for food and drink but all were pleasant enough. Food service was order and collect from the bar would have been nice if they had table service especially for the price. This would of helped to reduce ques also at the bar/order point.

Facilities and location nice, if fishing is a key point and you are booking on the lake reconsider I will not return to stay and fish.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I understand one of our bailiffs has already emailed you. Our lakes are well stocked and I would encourage you to look at our Facebook page for recent stockings into the lakes and some of the larger carp caught within the last couple of months. One of our members has caught 50 fish in the 7 days around your visit and one group staying with us caught very well.

Debbie on reception went above and beyond for me to make a last minute change to my accommodation. Really helpful and made the whole process smooth and stress free.

We spent 2 nights in our Campervan, the Ribbons field is lovely-as we don’t have young children I was glad we were not in the family friendly field. The shower-blocks varied hugely. The food in the cafe was lovely but at times was slow-but like many places they struggle to get the staff-this is a small village in sussex so not surprising.
We live locally and stayed to camp test camping with our dog! The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful-the site is very aimed at the fishing folk but they have some beautiful cabins and huts to stay in-will be back.

Excellent facilities, friendly staff, tasty food and overall good value for money.
We stayed in a lakeside pod and I enjoyed the fishing during the day (at a reasonable price) and the pod was spacious.
Advice - bring an air bed and extension lead (to give you more plugs) and do not leave any food outside as there can be pests (AS TO BE EXPECTED IN ANY OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT).
The showers and toilet facilities are exceptional and the staff are friendly, engaging and helpful!
Thank you!

Fab campsite. Really recommended. Really pretty, massive pitches so lots of privacy, gorgeous walks around the bluebells, beautiful lakes, great toilet and shower facilities, excellent café. Cannot recommend highly enough. The quality and maintenance are first class. Our impression is that the owners, managers and staff really care. They are also very friendly. Thanks Sumners Ponds.

4 of us stayed in Iris lodge for A long weekend for our birthday last weekend.
The lodge was absolutely wonderful, immaculate, well appointed and done to an extremely high standard. Very warm and comfortable with everything you could need. A very well equipped kitchen with tea, coffee and sugar. Dishwasher + tablets, washing machine, wine fridge etc. Games & books in the comfortable, warm and cosy loving room. Really beautifully decorated and presented. We absolutely loved it. Our husbands fished from the veranda and we enjoyed the view and walking around the immaculately kept site. And eating in the cafe on site. Almost next to our lodge which was also fantastic. If I have one small gripe it's that for what we paid a hot tub would have completed our stay perfectly!!
Have recommended it to friends and family and will 100% be back. Fabulous !!! Thank you so much

We had a really great time, we had a Pod and also a VW camper van, there was digging work going on but didn’t affect us at all, we fished on Farm Pond and caught dozens of medium carp 3LB to 7LB and also some decent bream, great sport for this time of year. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and very helpful, everywhere was clean and tidy, great showers and washing facilities, we will be back. Thank you

Arrived on Thursday afternoon. And was unimpressed. I understand it is off season and work gets done but there were diggers and a new set of huts being built.
The whole site is gravel so lots of pot holes and very muddy indeed.
Beautiful site however, the pitches are not as secluded as their plan makes out. It felt we weee on top of our neighbours.
The cafe was disappointing and the service wasn’t great. The chef needs some training in customer service.
Excellent dog walking field but no dog wash for after and the dogs were covered in mud.
Unfortunately, we left 2 days early than planned and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. We moved to another park which was by far better.
