Our group ( in our 50's and 60's, with not much training) did the Otago Rail Trail over 4 days from Clyde to Middlemarch. What a great ride. The wild flowers and the scenery were beautiful. Bike it Now organised everything for us and we couldn't fault their friendly professional service. Our hosts along the Trail were very welcoming and... More

We just completed the Central Otago Rail Trail. What a fantastic ride through ever changing beautiful scenery. The ride was so pleasant (even the slight uphill bits) and really well structured allowing enough time to see all the sights and drink in the scenery each day. The information boards in the Gangers huts were informative and timely such that you... More

My husband and I took 5 days to do the Otago rail trail with my 70 year old parents and aunt. We had a fantastic time, including my Dad who has Parkinsons and was able to use an electric bike. It's a great thing to do for all ages, a good balance of exercise and sightseeing that is invigorating but... More

We did the bike trail over three days, starting on a Friday afternoon in Clyde, and finishing at noon on Sunday in Middlemarch. Friendly and comfortable lodgings were provided by the Lauder School B&B and at Peter's Farm Lodge, south of Waipiata. We found wonderful food at the Lauder Hotel, the Oturehua Railway Hotel, and the Waipiata Hotel. All of... More

We have done the Otago Rail Trail twice. This time, it was a revelation to see the new facilities along the trail. But the thing that has remained the same is the warmth of hospitality everywhere we went. Thanks to Bike It Now for great service and follow-ups; and also to the owners of Dunstan House in Clyde, Lauder School... More

Completed the Otago Rail Trail in a group of 12 senior adults. Loved it from start at Clyde through to finish at Middlemarch. Great, must do experience. Booked through Shebikeshebikes who were sensational. Everything went according to our itinerary. Not a hard ride in good weather which we largely had. Some hills made tougher with wind. Great places to stay... More

We were 2 couples from Australia with 2 weeks in NZ. We started in Queenstown and enjoyed a few days driving around the area. We were collected and taken to Clyde to start the rail trail and were really well looked after by the Trail Journeys team. Our bags were transported every day and our bikes were good to ride... We used Rail Trail Journey's and I can't say enough about their professionalism and service. We started Clyde and cycled to Middlemarch. Two days of not-so-good weather did not dampen our spirits as it was still such a buzz. The cycling was not too difficult but I would not say it's a walk in the park either. One of our... More

I would like to say that the Otago Rail Trail was a fantastic experience and a large part of that is down to the team at SheBikesHeBikes! You guys were amazing, and so easy to work with right from the start when I made the first enquiry through till when you dropped us off at the train station at the... More
