What an amazing experience. How can cast iron figures emote such feelings. It is truly beautiful. Looking out over the salt pan from the hill i felt i knew what each figure was thinking.

There a fifty-one metal figures that form the instillation on this salt lake. It is nothing short of fantastic although to walk around all of them would take a long time. Nothing else like it.

We drove to Lake Ballard in a 2 WD car , road is orange gravel & was easy drive. Also depends how wet the road is from rain fall. Locals very good at advising on road conditions.
