We've provided coaching and watersports experiences for 25 years now, in the Chichester, Bracklesham and Witterings area.
Offering, watersports coaching and adventure days for windsurfing, stand up paddleboarding, wingfoiling and more our sessions are fun and professionally run.
We can tailor sessions for families or invite you into an existing group event if we have one running for your chosen activity.
Currently we have a lot of people trying out wingsurfing and sup to get on board now!

Amy and Ian were fantastic! We were a group of family and friends of all ages (10+) who thoroughly enjoyed the paddle boarding experience. Some of the group were beginners, but Amy and Ian were able to quickly make us all pros! After an hour they were all playing advanced games and having lots of fun. Amy and Ian are also fun as instructors making it all the more enjoyable. Highly recommended and would do this again. Thank you.

We had a great time. SUP was something that our daughter and grandkids were getting into and was potentially something we could do with them. We started off with the usual apprehension however Ian very quickly smoothed those away.
Rather than this being just a 'get on a SUP and off you go', Ian provided a safety brief/equipment, things to consider with the SUP (handling, set-up, etc.) which gave us a much better understanding even before we got to the water.
At the waters edge, went through safety again, pointing out things we hadn't considered and what to do and what to avoid doing!
Getting onto the board and actually starting was something to be remembered (more because I didn't fall in...well not straight away).
It was lovely to be able to go at a slow pace and gain confidence with handling the paddle and how the SUP reacted to what we were doing. We had a lovely time going up and down parts of the canal, watching the wildlife, chatting away and generally having a great time.
That for me was the main thing...we had a great time and a big thank you to Ian for the patience and humour.
I'll be looking to go back and do it all again...hopefully without falling in this time.

Booked a 1-2-1 wing foil lesson with Ian, was just what I needed to finally feel like I'm going somewhere with this amazing sport. A really decent amount of time on the water, gaining the vital feel for how to direct yourself and not just drift with the current or wind. Training was done via RIB, using communications headpieces, and me standing on a windsurf board holidng a wing. Ian was a good laugh to chat to, was very understanding and knowledgeable. I also learnt where to go to continue practicing by myself, something I feel more able to do now that I have reasonable control of direction. The area is beautiful, even on this fairly windy and partly cloudy day, was super to be out of the office. I might ache for a week now, felt like I really achieved somthing great though. Highly recommend, will be getting another lesson in with Ian as soon as I can get the time for it. Highly recommend, he'll tailor the lesson to your skills.

My first time on a paddle board and it was great. Something I've been wanting to do for ages
Ian has excellent teaching communication skills and made me feel relaxed. Definitely something I'm going to continue with.

We went out with Ian for 3 hours starting at Itchenor, great kit and excellent guiding and instruction. would thoroughly recommend ian and surfs SUP watersports.

I'm always leaning new things when I'm out on a SUP with Ian. He has a great way of teaching, demonstrating he not only knows his craft really well, but understands how to communicate it in such a way that it's easy to comprehend and apply.

Great windsurfing lesson with Ian, very patient and informative instructor and I only fell in once! I'll be going back for another go when I'm next in the area.

Ian took us for a guided paddle in chichester harbour. good tuition, perfect level of challenge, and a lot of fun.

Despite the wind and rain (apparently the first day of awful weather in 4 weeks) Ian still managed to make our activity afternoon go ahead and we had a fun 2 hours in the canal instead of the harbour. He is very easy going and made us, who are new to Paddle boarding, feel at ease. We all managed to get on our feet and enjoy the time on the water. Thank you! Great experience.

My 11 year old son, 14 year old niece and I had a fantastic 2 hour paddle boarding session with Ian from Surfs SUP Watersports. We are all beginners, and he took us to Chichester canal, which was calm and secluded. Ian was a great teacher, making sure that all 3 of us came away with a good technique. He also kept the session fun, so the teens were engaged throughout. We are all keen to continue paddle boarding and are grateful for such a fun and useful introduction. I would highly recommend this type of session for families
