Never been here before but went yesterday and cannot wait to go back. Great looking building. Great interior and good service. Lovely choice of drinks and snacks served by people who honestly seem to care. Fabulously comfy seats and "interesting" intro by man who (maybe) owns the plAce. Anyway. Great experience and can't wait to go back.

Seen many films here. It's like stepping back into the 1920s. You can imagine Poirot sitting down for a glass of wine. Try get the table and chairs together. Get yourself a nice chilled Chablis, relax and take in the film. The only way to see a film in my book. True you will get better sound and vision in... More

What a treat ! Comfy chairs , a table for your wine and reasonably priced snacks . This is the only way to watch a film ,you must go and give it a try. The ladies on the box office desk were so friendly and helpful .i will definitely return to The Rex and will recommend to everyone I know.

If you want to see a film in comfort with a glass of wine and plenty of leg room then you must try the Rex. It's beautiful and the staff are great.

I absolutely adore the Rex. The seats and leg room is exceptional in comparison to most modern cinemas. It shows current films and has a really warm feel about it. Suitable for absolutly all ages

Went to see a film with out 15 year old daughter. Absolutely beautiful venue. Staff are friendly and efficient. Snacks and tickets are much cheaper than big chain cinemas . Absolutely love this place.

Great place but you've got to be right on it to get the tickets you want which is a bit of a pain if you have to organise sitters etc for the kids. It sells out dead quick and no online booking facilities. Beautiful building and quirky random intro were the highlights but we had back row seats and they... More
