Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visit Narrow-Gauge Railway museum on weekend, that's the best time because Saturday and Sunday you can take a ride with old train towards Rubikiai lake and after spending there couple hours to come back.
In the museum area we visit wooden rail station, water tower, storehouse exposition with old locomotive.
Highly recommended during the visit in Anyksciai!

At this museum you will go back in time for 50-100 years. Also you can buy a tickect for real trip from Anykciai to nearby small city Rubikiai with one of the biggest lake in the vicinity.

My 4 years old child didn't want to leave this place. It's really small, but the staff makes a difference - you feel that they come to work especially for you. Good place for visit with a children. And for parents - it's a piece of history...

It's really surprisingly pleasant museum and it only cost you 3 Eur for a really interesting guided excursion about Narrow gauge railroad. Very amusing thing is that you can try some things yourself and answer really funny question. It's really suitable for a visit with kids. I really recommend to take the riding the narrow gauge. It takes a while but it is a really good experience.

Very interesting museum - docents on site to give guided tours and a 30 minute railroad bus ride is a winner for whole family - all free - any donations well deserved and greatly appreciated by volunteers who run the railroad bus and museum. Volunteers are friendly and very helpful - interesting and varied gift shop, prices very reasonable- a couple of hours well spent and children, teens and adults all equally welcome - it’s definitely a place worth visiting.

Riding the very quant narrow gauge steam train is something you must do if your any way interested in trains. I have a small interest but I really enjoyed my day out. I was traveling on my own across Lithuania and arrived here one Sunday morning at the station, brought a ticket and ended up attaching myself to a Lithuanian tour group on the steam train for a 40 minute ride into the countryside. No English was spoken by anyone at the station, on the train or on the tour group. I enjoyed myself & eventually figured out we were also taking a walking tour through the fields, past old wooden houses to a nearby village. Quite an adventure.
