We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An interesting town hall providing a history to the place. the staff were extremely friendly and we even got to speak to the Mayor, Louis, who was charming. There was a very interesting room showing the town's twinning with Comrie, Perthshire, Scotland which Carleton Place appears to really value.

This is a lovely 120 year old stone building with the Mississippi River at the back side. There is an elevator if needed.
Staff as are the people in the Town of Carleton Place very kind and helpful. We now have a new Mayor, Mr. Doug Black. I am a resident so I see it most days.

Every time I need to visit the town hall the people there are always friendly and helpful. It's refreshing that a municipal office is the way this one is.

Mayor is a liar and a crook. What a pity. The town suffers for it all. Nothing he does it helping the community.

Nice/impressive building on the shores of the Mississippi River, full of Canadian history and great for photo opportunities and weddings. If you drive by you should stop for a few minutes to admire it.

Great location next to the river, old, quaint and very well kept.
Sir Wilfred Laurier spoke here as well as much more history.
Everybody goes out of their way to answer any question you throw at them, don`t be afraid to ask..
Great photo opportunities on a sunny day.

This building is old and great to go and see the structure of it. People are there to help you if you need information or help finding a place or history.

We went recently to attend a wedding. This is a beautiful historic town hall next to the River and a lovely setting for a wedding. The Registrar was friendly and professional, and the building and the river made excellent backdrops for the photographs.
