Zarautz is a big beach, with many spots to surf. A lot of restaurants and bars and a good environment of surf. Only the way to park cars is a bit strange without space, but have a big pay parking car under the floor.

Rent a board, frolic in the water all day, have fantastic food close by the beach and spend the evening at camp fire with the new friends you've met while waiting for waves. The crowd is wide european international and the beach is stunning!

What a great beach! Busy, yes, but not horribly so. Having said that every day you can tell the new comers as low tide leaves a huge deep beach where they all pitch up and then the tide creeps in forcing everyone to steadily inch...More

the color of the sand is different not your white sand but this yellow very soft sand. it was cloudy with that breeze that brings to you the smell of the sea and invites you to drop everything and leave

Zarautz is a popular destination for both Spannish tourists and surfers from everywere. There are several surf schools and campings but not so much regular tourists from abroad. Therefore, it feels very autenthique and is a nice spot to learn to surf at day time...More
