We are working with brand new ScubaPro equipment and a rigid inflatable boat (RIB) 7.5M specially tailored for 12 divers with equipment. We are placed on Kampos beach, in the Kefalos area, in front of the stunning island of St. Stefanos. The visibility of the water is 25m+ and the temperature is between 20–26ºC.

Good dive school, good equipment, good safety awareness and professional team.
Sadly the dive sites were not great - dull on both dives were very dull. Boat stayed anchored in the same area for both dives. Very little ocean life and diversity - even for the Med. I was told we would dive a wreck and see amphora. I assumed (incorrectly it turned out) that this would be a very old wreck with amphora near or in the wreck. The wreck turned out to be a small wooden fishing boat which sank 25 years ago.
I have since been told by others that the Paleokastritsa area provides far better dive sites. My fault - I should have done more homework.

Dear Diver, Thank you for your comment, but you have addressed the wrong dive center. We do not have any wrecks in our area, we do not provide wreck diving and it is impossible that you dive with us and experienced all the above you have reviewed. Please remove the wrong comment to us and we invite you next time to visit us, dive with us in Kefalos area and amazing Kastri island and I am sure you will be quite satisfied with our services and also with the underwater life and morphology of the area.

I came to Kos with little in the way of expectations around the diving on offer but decided to book a couple of days diving anyway.
The dive center is tiny but just what's needed, right on the beach with really well thought out arrangements for gear storage and washing.
I always travel with my own gear but their rental gear is up to date and looks very well maintained.
I had the pleasure of diving with Julie and Sascha who professional, have great water skills and were an absolute delight to dive with, very knowledgeable and engaging.
A great variety of sites are offered catering for all levels of experience.
After 32 years and over 5000 dives I've seen more than my fair share of dive operations and this is very much one of the best.

There is a fantastic 5* PADI Team led by Giorgos. I had 5 dives as part of the AOWD course. I am grateful for the education and friendly treatment received from Sascha, Julie, Cathy, Tanja and Ricardo.
I would return to this resort any time.

Great private tour by Goorgos and Katherina. We really enjoyed the day and everyone was so kind to our children. Got to enjoy snorkeling across a number of different spots. Highly recommend

I greatly enjoyed diving with Sea World Scuba Diving Center during my stay at Ikos Aria. I did 9 dives, including the 5 needed for obtaining my PADI Advanced Open Water certification. The dive station is located within the Ikos Aria resort, which is magnificent. The team, led by the excellent Giorgios, was super friendly and highly competent. Many thanks to the instuctors, Giorgios, Juliane ( who was my instructor for the AOW course) , Zatscha, Ricardo and Katie. I also thank Giannis, the boat captain. Regarding the dives, there are 4 different sites, with various depths, which can be reached by shore or by boat (Rapid Inflatable Boat or a bigger boat). The visibility was always excellent and I enjoyed super safe dives. The equipment, all ScubaPro, was top quality. Diving experience with Sea World Scuba Diving Center Kos was the best part of my holidays. I will definitely consider to return there again for diving !

One of the best diving experiences we've had so far thanks to Giorgos and Ricardo. The dive site and visibility were amazing! We definitely recommend it and will come back again when we are in Kos!

My 30 year old son Daniel wanted to learn to dive (from scratch) and I needed to do some serious catching up having been a member of the British Sub Aqua Club nearly 50 years ago and snorkelled on holidays since!
We decided on “a Greek island” which gave way too much choice to research. Having already been to Kefalos and loved it, I was delighted to find that the only dive centre there had such excellent reviews! I left a WhatsApp message and Giorgos, the owner from Lesvos, rang me back and explained how things could work for both Daniel and myself.
Some further research found Hotel Anthoula, which turned out to be beautiful, clean, excellent value, and run by a delightful team! It is a 30-40minute walk from the dive centre but that was fine with us!
Daniel’s training was done by Ricardo and as the centre was quiet in May, I was able to sit in on some of the talks!
Ricardo’s style is clear, patient, and thorough; I learned more than I expected, but at no point was it uncomfortable learning from someone who was born after I started diving! Thank you Ricardo!
I then did a dive with Giorgos around “Three Rocks”, my first in five years, and he made it easy to expand my skills - mostly using my BCD to control my buoyancy rather than continually swimming up or down (natural for a snorkeller but not a good way to dive).
The following day we did a boat dive with Ricardo at Skala along the cliffs past the headland to the right of the bay!
Ricardo is also an excellent dive leader, meticulous in preparation, ensuring our well-being during the dive, continuing our training, and also pointing out things of interest; visibility and water temperature were great, even in May.
I enjoyed it so much I am planning to come back at the end of season to upgrade my qualification and (I hope) do some boat dives from Giorgos’s boat off the coast of Nisiros, the volcano island!

Extremely professional diving centre, all of the equipment was top-notch and in fantastic condition, very good pre-dive brief and easy access to the boat. Giorgos and Ricardo are very experienced operators and ensured that I had a great dive, visibility and topography were good and plenty of small fish although the water was still a little cold for some of the larger species. Definitely recommended.

I was diving today in IKOS ARIA after 8 years without diving at all. Was nervous a little and the instructor dealt with it in a calm and an experienced way. It was a great experience regarding the equipment as well, and all the crew of the diving center. I will mention that the sight of diving isn’t exciting compared to the Red Sea or Thailand, though it is obvious. So, if you are at IKOS and wish to get your diving skills in shape, I highly recommend!

I’m currently staying at Ikos Aria and recently completed my PADI Open Water course with Sea World diving. The staff are all excellent - super friendly and welcoming and very knowledgeable and professional. I’d highly recommend this centre!

Thank you for your email and interest to dive with us. We are not operating at the moment since we are out of season. We will start again on the 1st of May 2020.
About your request, we can offer you the Discover Scuba Diver (DSD) experience, which is 2 - 3 hours program with a little bit of theory, and dive in shallow seawater until 5 - 6 meters depth. Meeting time for DSD are 9:00, 12:00 and 15:00, every day. In case that you do the DSD, your next dive can be a boat fun dive, and you will be limited to dive until 12 m depth with instructor. We are providing two fun dives with a boat per day, with meeting time at 9.30 and 15.00 or you can do them in "one go" which means that you can do two dives in a row without coming back on the land between dives. So, you start at 9.30 and you are back at around 13.30.
Price for DSD is 110 euro for one person and 70 euro for additional boat dive after DSD. This price includes theory, equipment and instructor for you.
The second option is to start an Open Water Diver course which lasts for 3 - 5 days which gives you a certification that is lifetime and never expire.
