This is a Sami museum located at the end of Jukkasjarvi, near the church. Nothing much in this museum, at the time we went. It would be better with a guide as we would know what we are seeing. The reindeer pen was quite interesting...More

This is a great stop if you are staying at the Ice Hotel. Interesting displays and hands-on stuff (good for kids) as well as some reasonably-priced and delicious snacks and, let's be honest, a really nice shop.

We enjoyed a brief history of the Sami people and their culture. Opportunity to walk with the reindeer. Nice shop where we purchased a book on the northern lights.

It was an expensive sandwich but worth the fun of eating in the t pee and having our reindeer sandwich cooked over the open fire in front of us.

The museum is really neat and I love their gift shop. The best part is getting to hang out with the reindeer - they are so cute! A great experience for anyone visiting the area.
