Maws Craft Centre is situated in the picturesque Ironbridge Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, 1.5 miles from the historic Iron Bridge and housed in the refurbished Victorian tile factory of Maw & Co, once the world's largest tile manufacturer. The centre comprises independently run studios housing an eclectic mix of arts & crafts specialists and holistic therapists plus the Maws Vintage tearoom. Our courtyard is used to host events including Glenn Miller evenings, Jackfield Brass Band concerts, World Heritage Site events, outdoor art exhibitions and seasonal fairs. The craft centre complex is open 7 days a week but individual shop & studio opening times vary. The tearoom is open 7 days a week from 10.30am to 4pm. Usually a selection of shops & studios can be found open most afternoons, the best time to visit is from 12 to 3pm. If you want to see a particular shop or artist please check with them before travelling any distance. Contact details and individual shop opening times can be found on the studios page of our website. We offer the added bonus of no admission fee and free parking to make your visit with us more enjoyable.

Nice little independent shops grouped in a square overlooking a central courtyard. Worth a visit. A little way out of Ironbridge. Plenty of free parking. There's a tea room where food is available.

Visited on July the 11th, middle of summer, they advertise over 20 shops / craft areas, make that 5, yes only 5 were open. This is supposed to be a tourist attraction. Abismal !
