Excellent value boat hire. It was £11 for an hour's rowing on the river for 2 adults and a 12 year old child. Nice cafe next door to the boat park. Also there is walk along the old train track which goes to Whitby .

Lovely little gem run by friendly people and not massively overpriced like some other tourist attractions in the area! Myself and my three teens hired kayaks and had a lovely time going down river. Highly recommend.

Be prepared to get wet! Rowing boats and canoes available in a beautiful peaceful setting. We had a great afternoon, wouldn't say it's suitable for toddlers or the infirm though.

You'd be better emailing the attraction. I only saw kiddies boats and the attraction boats. Maybe further up stream or in the river over the weir.
