Staying locally with our dogs we asked our hosts to recommend a beach for walks they suggested Amroth. What a beautiful place laid back relaxing atmosphere we also sampled the pub that was also 🐕 friendly

Amroth beach is only a stone's throw from the A477, 4 miles from Saundersfoot and 8 miles from Tenby but it's a little jewel. The village of Amroth has a mix of pubs and cafe's with a car park for around 40 or 50 vehicles...More

Large, unspoilt beach. Between 1st May and 30th September a large part of the beach is dog free. Blue Flag beach. The area is dog friendly.

Came here on a blustery October day, bracing! But stunning beach, lots of dog walkers, sand very firm. Then got caught in the rain!

Lovely large sandy beach. Didn’t see any litter which is good. Lovely fish sculpture made of plastic bottles collected from sea on sea front so they obviously have a scheme going on for litter. Dogs allowed except the part directly in front of the little...More

This is a lovely beach especially at low tide, when you can walk for about a mile in either direction. There are rock pools, groynes for wind breaks, safe swimming conditions with lifeguards in summer and a promenade with ample seating. Also a rarity, free...More

Great stretch of beach at low tide. Miles of empty sand and a dog restriction on nearly all of it until end of September!!! Total overkill. Did observe that the locals seem to flaunt the rules though.
