Stayed close by with my daughter, son in law and 2 year-old grandson so walked and thought give it a try. Food was better than average pub food. So nice went back, only problem I had was deciding if stick with same or try something...More

Decent enough pub grub, served very quickly. I did feel sorry for the waitresses though as the kitchen was up a very steep flight of stairs which they must run up and down hundreds of times a day!

Had pie special but have to say, very little chicken or ham in the pie. Yes portions of chips are big, but I would have preferred more meat in the pie. Drinks a little on the expensive side for a pub. Tasted ok but disappointed...More
