This is a very long and narrow beach which spans a lot of different resorts. You can chose to rent chairs and umbrellas or simply sit on the sand. We chose to simply lay out in the sand. The best place for the snorkeling is at the far end of the beach the reef is very close to the surface there, so close that you need to be careful not to get scraped on them. The reef is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately for us it rained off and on all day but we still had a great time. There are a lot of people walking around always trying to sell you something most are fine some are very pushy.…

We loved Tabyana Beach. We did an excursion from Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Seas. We swam directly from the beach and snorkeled. We rented snorkels for 15$ each and then our guide, Jersey took us out to the reef. We swam and snorkeled for 40 minutes. It was great fun and crystal clear water with lots of fish to see. We tipped our guide afterward. Lunch was provided and cash bar with bar service from the beach too. There was a man there who was security to watch our chairs and belongings too, which was nice. I would recommend this!…

This is a terrific beach at the southern tip of the West Bay. It has a nice bar and chairs with umbrellas to rent. Drinks and meal prices are very reasonable. It's a best place to snorkel on West bay, as just in front is a reef with gorgeous corals and fish. Don't forget your mask and fins, as well much of sun block lotion. Many vendors around, but they're not agressive, just say Thank you and they will leave. Have in mind Honduras is a poor country and they make their living that way.…

Loved walking on the beach especially at night. Felt safe. Water was clear and warm. Did rain for 3 days straight but they cleaned up the beach quickly. There are many vendors on the beach selling food and souvenirs but if you just say no thank you they leave you alone.
