Marco and his team are fantastic, they watch out for their divers, always making sure everyone is comfortable and safe. We have dove with them now for about 15 years over Christmas and keep coming back. They treat us and their customers like family, they even worked with our 10 year old and got him certified. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.…

We decided to use the Bananarama Dive Shop because of a personal recommendation from a friend of a friend who lives on the island. We did six dives over three days with three different guides. We had a great experience and recommend it highly. Marco manages the shop and the guides including Marco’s daughter, Lenita, were friendly, fun, knowledgeable and professional. We also had great dives with Andrea and Martin. They operate three small boats and generally stick to small groups of divers. The biggest group we had was 6 divers plus our guide and the boat driver. Each of the dives was only a short boat ride away, no more than 10-15 minutes. The guides provided skill-level appropriate feedback about technical skills, like fine tuning bouyancy etc.; my son and I were already certified but inexperienced divers. They were efficient and the equipment seemed well maintained. We felt very comfortable that safety was a priority. Also the guides we worked with exhibited respect for the reef and its inhabitants. We met several people who had been diving with Bananarama for years and had nothing but rave reviews. Also I didn’t do much comparison shopping but the prices seem reasonable. Great dive shop! I did my open water PADI certification through Bananarama and had nothing but great things to say about my instructor, the dives, and the overall experience with the dive shop. All of my dives and written work were with the same instructor 1-on-1 and she made it so fun and relaxed while still being thorough and insuring I felt confident in my skills. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, allowing me to do the work and plan the dives at my own pace. I would highly recommend them to any divers, new and experienced. Marco runs a great shop with excellent Dive Masters including Zoe, Martin, Andrea, and Lolita. Diving with them is varied depending on the site customers want to do. Very fishy with all types of marine life. Most of the dives are on walls, some have crawl throughs, some have sand, others have currents. Great for all levels of divers who want to go out with some groups, max. 8. I keep returning year after year for a high quality of customer service in great visibility in bathtub warm water. Rentals and training are also available. Easy to give them a great recommendation.…
