I witnessed the shopowner being abusive, aggressive and highly homophobic towards a female couple over Xmas / New Years. The adult male owner was shouting abuse and being incredibly aggressive towards them. I hadn’t purchased anything yet, but I’m glad I didn’t. I imagine they would have struggled to enjoy their holiday and I certainly didn't return to this part of the beach following the incident. It was simply disgusting, unacceptable and horrific to witness. I would advise strongly against putting any more business their way. I am a big advocate for supporting small businesses but I refuse to support businesses that treat people this way.…

It’s sad that people use TripAdvisor to attack and get revenge. For sure, the person who wrote this has never been to our business and was just working for someone else and using this review to give our business a bad reputation. We have no type of racial or sex preference towards people. Everyone who comes to my business are welcomed and are treated the same way, with respect and kindness. I don’t agree that TripAdvisor allow the fact that people can just create a scenario that never happened and that affects people who are running a business, specially in this critical moment that everyone is going through. After being away from Roatan for five years I was very excited to return to see what pieces I could add to my collection of beautiful Karma jewelry. Karla recognized me right away and expressed her happiness that much of her success was due to her many return customers. Karla and Marco have added many new pieces to their collection and choosing only a few was very difficult. In the end I purchased two pendants – a silver octopus pendant, and a crab and rhodochrosite pendant. So lovely. Karla even designed a special sand dollar fossil bracelet for me which will match a favourite pendant which I purchased in 2015. I always receive so many compliments about my jewelry and am grateful to be able to support such talented artisans. Hopefully it will not be another five years before I’m able to shop at Karma again.…

I’m writing this review on behalf of our group of 13 who recently vacationed in Roatan, with more than half of the group purchasing multiple pieces. The beauty of all her pieces can truly speak for themselves, so this review is more about the service we all received. Karla gave each of her customers equal attention, and her laid back and unassuming manner made each purchase a true pleasure. She would put aside pieces for days if you were undecided, and always stayed true to her promises of bringing in specific items (custom length necklace, bracelets made of specific stones...). My set of mother-daughter bracelets will always bring back warm memories of Roatan thanks to the wonderful purchasing experience. …
