We stopped here while on our cruise. We found so many gifts and souvenirs to bring back to our kids and other family members here. The prices weren't too bad either. This is definitely a good place to go if you're looking to pick up something unique.

Located at the end of the West Bay Mall, So Tropic has a great selection of island gifts, t-shirts, necessities, vanilla, honey and more. One cool shirt that we found was the "I love the banana donut" t-shirt. Very nice marketing for the "Banana Donut Man!" Very friendly staff and reasonable prices.…

So glad we found this shop, what a gem! Wound up getting all of our trip gifts from here because they trade with local craftsmen and have awesome gifts (small or large). I also picked up a couple great swimsuits, styles I had not seen before, and I get compliments every time I wear them. Also, there is a rum cake they sell that is made locally, BUY THIS. Seriously, buy this. I bought three and all three were eaten by the time I got off the plane back in the states, best rum cake I've ever had!…

So Tropic has a great selection of gifts but also stocks the essentials: bug spray, pain killers etc. I was really delighted to find a great box of cigars. I have bought cigars before in the caribbean and on returning home found that they have not been looked after properly and the quality is compromised. These cigars were pristine and my uncle for whom they were for was delighted. The service was friendly and helpful and it was a pleasant experience all round.…
