We are currently in Roatan and have visited Pies Bonitos on a couple of occasions! They have lovely local artisan jewelry as well as sandals with a personal touch. Once you find the sandals and size that best fits, the lovey Vivian will personally thread beads of your choice onto the sandals you choose if you can’t find just the right pair already on display. Do to unforseen issues with 2 pairs of Crocs "sturdy" flip flops, I was running low on footwear. I was initially looking for a really cheap pair to get me through the rest of the trip, but I had heard about these. They are definitely not cheap as far as quality, but price they were actually REALLY AFFORDABLE! $30 for handmade leather flip flops. My daughter saw a design she liked, but they didn't have in her size....so they did custom work in about 20 minutes. I will be back!!…

I saw this shop on trip advisor and wanted to stop here on our day trip to Roatan. We had a great driver for the day who made sure we had time for this fun stop. Very large selection of very pretty sandals for everyone. The girl who worked there strings the beads on the sandals and was very pleasant to talk to. We bought a total of 6 pair of sandals and we all wore them the rest of our trip. I was very pleased they were as comfortable as I hoped they would be! …
