Good beach area - quieter than Galle Face and very pleasant to watch the world go by. There are some good "short eats" places accross the road and the "Egg Hoppers" are awesome almost as good as mine!

This stretch of the beach was very popular with locals who arrived in buses from inland Sri Lanka. The main road runs right behind it so not a beach for relaxing/sunbathing.

Nice place to stop and have a quite walk. Also the budhist temple is very nice to visit. The footprint and the monks are amazing.

Great place to sit and watch the world go by. Very clean beach but wasn't safe to swim. Lots of the locals sit there courting. Just a great place to sit and watch the world go by.
