Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The water is super clear with a blue green colour and definitely worth a full day. Access to the beach however is very difficult. First there are no spots to park the car and literally you have to leave it on the street side and hope not to get a fine. If you are lucky enough to park close to the main access to the beach, then you have a 15 minute walk into a narrow and steep path super crowded during peak season. There are no facilities at the beach hence I suggest to bring over food and water.

Find the zambrone train station. It's easy from the main road. Find Poseidon fish restaurant and its on the left. Park on the road below the train station (pass the station when it's on your right and go right under the bridge and park in the right.
Get ice cream from the station cafe. :)
Cross the train line at the white labelled area and go to the right to the end of the railway platform. Ignore the do not cross line. 10 mins you at the beech. Take good shoes as you will want to climb the rocks to the large beech on the right. Good for couples but families may struggle to go to the large beech.
Great day and worth it if you able to climb down the hill (steep but walkable)

It requires an effort to get there, but it's definitely worth it. I love everything about it, the walk, the view, the sea !

It's a steep climb down a concealed walkway to this sandy cove, but it's completely worth it to find turquoise water, dramatic rock formations, flowers and trees, and a great vibe with local Italian families. We were the only tourists on the beach, which is completely unspoilt with no introduced elements. If you are in the area, don't miss a chance to visit and enjoy communing with nature.

Very romantic beach in Zambrone. The path from the train station is easy tofind. it s a really nice walk to the beach. Good shoes is recommended if u want to feel confy. We made it in fliflops so no worry. In this time just 4-5 ppl were on the beach and we didnt disturb each other at all. Still sunny and warm but hobestly we spent more time ozt of the water. Absolutely worth to visit!!

Maldives are just overrated! If you are in this part of Calabria, you must visit this beach. Crystal clear waters, nice walk, copious sea life under water.BEAUTIFUL!

The locals call this beach "La Marinella", and it is separated from the main beach of Zambrone by a cliff (lo scoglio del leone - the lions's cliff): you can thus reach it via sea or by climbing the hill to the railway station and then go down through a narrow and sometimes steep path.
Do it and you'll be rewarded with one of the most beautiful beaches of Italy, and for that matter, of the world (at least the one I know).
It is a tiny patch of land, thankfully know by not so many people, so you can sunbathe and swim nature. No services available, so bring your umbrella, chairs and beverages/food.
Go there, and you'll know the meaning of paradise on hearth.

This little wonderful beach is a hidden gem. Not easy to find the start if the path, but worth the effort on the steep trail.

It’s been amazing visiting this gorgeous beach!! There is a path to get this place, quite uncomfortable, but it is absolutely worthy!!!! You could feel this place as soon as the beach show itself, the first glace it’s a pleasure for the heart!!
Just a complain, not enough parking! The mayor should do something about that!!

Not really a question, but I didn't want to add a negative review, so...
This beach is so hard to find! We stayed in a hotel nearby, went looking for a footpath twice and just couldn't find it. Google suggested going across the train tracks and I guess people to cross them, because there is now a sign at the station asking people no to do that...
But if anyone could post some photos of how to find the beginning of that path, maybe that would help people in the future.
I've seen some photos from previous years of a card on a building, but couldn't find that in May '23 :(

Dove si può parcheggiare l'auto? Mi potete dare dei consigli?
Written 15 July 2019

Written 28 August 2018
assolutamente no in questa spiaggia.
puoi trovare stabilimenti balneari solo nei camping circostanti.
Written 30 August 2018
