Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very nice beach and one of the best places to watch the sun set with a cold drink. It can get a little crowded sometimes. Few nice places to take a drink for Sunset but need to book to be sure that you get a Table / Chair.

The public beach of La Preneuse is rather clean and not super busy. Makes a great alternative for people staying in a hotel or appartment without beach access.

Tip: bring your water shoes, there's quite a bit of small rocks and crushed shells mixed in with the sand.

Been visiting this beach since I was kid, and I have seen drastic changes take place. The place, though very nice lacks the charm it used to have bck in the days. The authorities need to change their approach to beach conservation

The beach has no restaurants or drink facilities. The best part is the sea, but the beach is very short

We often visit la Preneuse beach and it's a wonderful place to swim, relax and snorkel.
In the evenings we make sundowners and take a picnic basket and sit on the beach and watch the sun go down. The view towards Le Morne is wonderful and the sunsets are amazing.

Can get very busy during the weekend. Nice spot to watch the beautiful sunset and to take the apero.

I was walking along the beach one morning. I was surprised to see what La Preneuse Beach has become due to erosion.

Best sunset one can image by far, relaxed calm and inspirational- beach is a set in such a way you can enjoy bat and ball activities as well as sensational views of other parts of the island.

A very discreet beach on the west coast, just after Tamarin beach. It is not very popular with visiting travellers, but offers an amazing beach with a nice view on Le Morne and the mountain of La Tourelle behind. If you are driving by, please stop by, at least to see enjoy the view. There are some sand bags on the beach to stop the erosion which doesn’t make too appealing aesthetically, but a few metres down and the beach is much better.
