Lots and lots of industry information - for both kids and grown-ups. You are not allowed into the plant, which is just next door, but the museum, or rather, information center provides enough info - history and current state.

on a tour of the Uglich hydroelectric museum, I was surprised to learn that one of the rooms is dedicated to the gulag prisoners who created the dam Tour group: optional tour provided by visiting cruise ship oh the river
