We enjoyed a great tasting of wines at the Black Ridge vineyard. All the wines were interesting; we particularly appreciated the two Rieslings and a cracking Pinot Noir. This is a small family-run establishment keen to show off their wine and there is no sales...More

Oldest and most southern vineyard in NZ. Well worth a visit, the wine is delicious and different from the wines in the Bannockburn area (which we also love). We had a wide range of wines to taste.

We had a fantastic time at Black Ridge Vineyard tasting with the owner. He was so welcoming and happy to answer any questions we had. The wines are pretty special and the vine age really shows through in the quality of the wine. Highly recommend.
