We had been meaning to make the trip to the zoo for a long time and the free entry offer proved a good incentive for us to travel over. The zoo itself has a good range of animal attractions and the kids were kept entertained. The food inside was also reasonably priced and not as expensive as I expected. Overall... More

We went in the free period so can't knock the value. We arrived at 10 and left at 1pm after seeing everything we wanted to see. We stuck to the paths but still all got quite muddy shoes.

Decided to visit the zoo for a day out. Had a lovely day and saw a great variety of animals. A particular highlight was watching the tigers be fed. It was great to see these agile creatures in action. The feeding experiences are very worthwhile and offer the opportunity to view the animals up close. The only downside really was... More

Can really tell the owners are trying hard to improve this park. The queue to get in was long but moved quickly. Free entrance but we paid the extra for the wristbands entitling you to feed the animals. Lots of animals were out as it was fine weather. Beautiful snow leopards and excellent photo opportunities. Animals looked well cared for... More

We visited the zoo today with are 2 children.. what a fantastic place. It was free to get in and we all had a great time, both my children got the feed a giraffe and reindeer. You can get very close to lots of other animals too. I will definitely be visiting again.

This is not the first time that I have been a visitor to this attraction and it certainly wont't be the last. What I will say is that money has been put into this zoo and there have been improvements each time I have visited. It now has a massive car park and a new entrance from the main road... More

We were excited to go given that it was free entry due to it been winter. On arrival there was a big carpark and pleasnt looking entrance. The lady on arrival was unable to answer questions. It is £1.5 for 3 small bags of feed. Most animals looked to be in poor condition with the exception of a few. The... More

I have to say that I don't particularly enjoy visiting zoos due to the caging situation and obvious stress/boredom of many animals; A friend recommended this place on the grounds that many animals are free to roam and begrudgingly we decided to visit (2 adults/2 children aged 10/11. I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised. It was a... More

We visited the park with our 3 young children. The park overall has seen some major changes over recent years and some of the areas are looking good especially the childrens play area which is massive and plenty to tire even the most energetic of kids. Unfortunately some of the enclosures dont look the best I.E Wolf enclosure looks like... More

Went in December spent three hours there but could easily have stayed longer. Excellent facilities, clean, well maintained. children's play / picnic area. Good menu with meal deals for kids. Staff very helpful Lots of information about the animals. The animals were well looked after and many more species than I expected. Went with a friend but would recommend for... More
