mostly flat and easy to walk on - just the volcano itself is a bit tricky if you are not very fit. The track is easy to follow and you cannot really get lost, even if you are not using GPS systems

In all the years that I have been coming to Lanzarote (15)I have hankered to get to the top the one of the volcanoes; specifically Montana Blanca which everyone coming out of the airport sees in front of them as they join the main road...More

If you visit Montana Blanca try some of the local cheese here. It it is also worth visiting the sociadad but it helps if you speak a little if not a lot od Spanish
