We had a very pleasant tour of the vineyard, cellars and wine making process with our guide Angelina. Tasted three wines, Chardonnay, Carmeniere and Cabernet Sauvignon; all from the Aconcagua Valley - very good wines. After the tasting, we drove to Parque Arqueologico Paidenhuen, (on the property of Vina San Esteban) hiked up the hill with Angelina to see petroglyphs... More

Came here with a group of about 30 soldiers. We had just finished 3 weeks of training in Chile and it was time for some relaxation. Vina was perfect. We were given an amazing tour, in English by the way, from a very lovely women. They showed us the distillation area and the barrel ageing room. We tasted maybe 6... More

This establishment has more than one staff member who speaks English, which did surprise us.They coped with us in a pleasant way while dealing with groups of Spanish speakers people who required attention. We enjoyed our tastings and purchased two bottles, which were sold at a reasonable price.

Went for a tasting - it was $25 per person for 4 wines, and you pay even if you buy. I was astounded, seemed like much to much. Seemed like a well run family enterprise. The wines were very good. Had 2 blends, aCarminere and a Saugv Blanc. Prices were expensive, better to find out if they export to your... More

Tour was nice- accommodated english speakers (us) despite we came without reservation which they recommend. Tour was nice for a mid-size winery. Wine we tasted was very good. We also did the tour of the nearby petroglyphs- they were ok but not awesome- still was worth seeing them too though.

My partner and I stopped in to San Esteban winery, and overall, the tasting room is very small, cannot accommodate larger groups, and the wines are only OK. We didn't have reservations for a tour, but it was the low season and they were able to accommodate us to a certain extent. Really, unless you have GPS on, it would... More

The Vineyard has the funnest tour we had in any vineyard. They offer a winemaker tour which allows you to make your own blend... super exciting to try the different flavors you can come up with. We had a full day at the vineyard with our cool tour guide and we bottled a couple of wines each. We came back... More

Our guide/driver was Emmanuel of Stamp's Tour - he was perfect for the job as he loves to talk/banter and provide information! He made the long round trip drive from Santiago up to the San Esteban Vineyard and Portillo Inca Lagoon fun. We had an unexpected treat at the vineyard - we were given a choice of a tour of... More

Visiting San Esteban was absolutely great. We did the tour that also takes you to the Portillo ski resort for lunch (reach out to Portillo to book). At the winery, we were greeted by Israel, our tour guide. They're an organic winery and the smaller and more familiar structure allows for a much more personal experience than the big commercial... This winery was wonderful. We were fortunate enough to get to blend our own bottles of wine. The tour was interesting and our guide spoke English very well. She was sweet and informative. Their Carmenere is the best that I had during this trip to Chile. I loved everything about this place.
