About
A beautiful pristine area shared by 3 countries. These lakes are shared by Albania, FYROM and Greece. A totally different kind of vacation to come in touch of nature as it truly is as well as the people who live there!

We were so glad we made the effort to come to this area of outstanding beauty. The Mikri Prespa is mostly in Greece where we stayed. Sadly most of the tavernas near the lake were closed in May

The Megali Prespa is at the crossroads between Greece, Albania and FYROM. A natural park, very genuine, and with this otherworldly feeling that often times cross border areas have. It was cool also in the middle of the summer. We visited the little village of...More

There are huge fertile bean fields around the lake. It's worth going up to Agios Achilios though watch out for small water snakes that may be on the floating bridge. Remember to taste a dish of beans at Psarades village and buy some spices and...More
