Lydia’s chapel is simply beautiful. The paintings telling the story are gorgeous. The waters flowing nearby help create such a peaceful feeling. You can sit down by the water and feel the serenity.

What a beautiful temple!!! The grounds were so beautiful and peaceful. There is a babbling brook close by. Lots of shade trees. Perfect place for a devotional , or just to sit and soak it all in!!

This is where Paul baptized Lydia- the seller of purple cloth and also the first European Christian. This was one of mine and my husband's favorite stops. There is a lovely monument built on the river. Also, a baptistry has been built a few yards...More

The name of this place is "St. Lydia's Baptistry" but I couldn't find a way to fix the misspelling on Trip Adviser. This was one of the last stops on our 10-day St. Paul pilgrimage, an of all the places we went it was where...More
