It is very hard to describe this family shop, apart from saying there is something inside for everybody. And that unless you visit you won’t fully understand how different this shop is and the range and quality of items for sale. As an adult this...More
This is a wonderful shop. We spent an hour but only scratched the surface.
There is truely something for everyone and if you need a break from perusing, there is a coffee shop to catch your breath.
Some of the specialty items include exquisite pocket...More
I nearly walked past this place thinking its just another gift shop. 40 minutes later I walk out just gobsmacked at what I had just seen. Loved Dr Who theme area and I'm not even a fan. Nearly missed the backdoor if I had not...More
Wow! You step through the door of this amazing shop and it's like walking into another world. You are greeted at the door by wonderful staff with fudge to try....delicious. There is so much to look at you don't know where to start. There are...More
This interesting store sometimes feels more like a museum. There are countless items and paraphernalia to look at and to possibly buy. The staff are friendly and give fudge freely when you enter. There are many funny things to look at such as sections with...More
We would not of known this was here except we are lucky enough to know someone who lives in Latrobe. We must of spent about an hour in this place. Make sure you walk through the doors in all the secret little rooms, you will...More
While I loved the original Relicquaire, the 'rebuilt' version is fantastic and, in some ways, even better. Now in one huge open area (instead of the individual rooms of the original), it's easier to look at things and move around. It has lost none of...More
Reliquaire was burnt down a few years ago but is back in full swing. They sell the most unusual things. You are sure to find something for the most difficult person. Plus it is a good way to spend the time just looking about.
This was a must stop for us. I am told that this is an improvement from the old building which burnt down and more accessible. You'll need to allow plenty of time for a good browse because this shop has an eclectic collection of items...More
Overcluttered, overpriced, glorified novelty store. Extreamly rude staff member, Silvia, made the visit uncomfortable and hasty, couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Pushy and bitter.
A complete waste of time traveling to check out the store, I will never go back, nor recommend to...More

It was the Stones Hotel, then the Retreat Hotel followed by it then being the Lord's Hotel. After this it was converted in to flats by the Russell family(my father in-laws grandparents) after Mr Russell passed away the building was left to his two daughters who later sold it to the Christie family in the 90's. Hope this helps ☺
