Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Brian VPalawan Island, Philippines6 contributionsHinagdanan cave in bohol is a interesting cave. It has a clear, natural underground lake where you can swim. It's a brief but enjoyable visits.Written 7 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- BOHOL SHOW OCEAN FANTASYPanglao, Philippines18 contributionsThe place is clean, very beautiful beach.
The place is good for activities with your family, work and other stuff. You will really enjoy because the water level is not shallow and the trashes are just minimal.Written 13 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A must do to say you have been for sure. We had 1 hour to spend here but only spent about 15mins.Written 22 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - gopalavMumbai200 contributionsI was there in Alona Vida Beach resort for business. It is a lively place and I was an odd man out as it is a beach front hotel with a nice restaurant at the front having a love band playing. Alona is a small stretch of beautiful beach with lots of restaurants and beach front activities. Scuba diving, snorkeling, para salining activities are starting from the beach so have lots of people soliciting services. Evenings are livelier with restaurants, bars, massage parlours, springing to life.Written 30 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - lorrainechuaManila, Philippines73 contributionsMost of the day was low tide so we had to walk far before we were able to swim. But the beach was nice and clean. There was a lot of sea urchin and starfish tho so watch out.Written 14 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Milet MirandaManila, Philippines117 contributionsThis beach is gorgeous! However, it isn’t ideal for swimming due to the shallow water. This is away from the crowd and noise of Alona Beach so you will experience a quiet and relaxing stay.Written 12 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Pete HBirmingham, UK52 contributionsWe stopped by here while staying at a resort on the island.
We spent maybe an hour there and took a few photos (no flash)
The Tarsiers are funny little things and I would be surprised if they could survive nowadays without protection.
