Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very child and senior friendly place. Definitely a good place to visit on a rainy day, so keep that in mind. It isn't sunny every day here. I have visited many caves but this one with its concrete path was safer than most, despite all the safety warnings. come with swimming gear like we did and be pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the water down in this picturesque well-lit cavern. There are bats (they squeak and flitter around occasionally) in this cave with its stalactites and stalagmites. The roof looks stable and actively dripping with lime water. The swimming was refreshing but not too cold. The water was saline but mildly so. Back outside, the parking was easy and the souvenir shops good with plenty of colourful and topical tshirts and sweet snacks and drinks and street food stalls. One not so good aspect was the potholed access road, but for my pickup truck with all terrain tyres it was ok.

The idea of getting out from the buzzling and crowded place in the city makes us feel of finding a santuary place to breath..leaving the tons of work and deadlines of school works made us visit PANGLAO particularly DUMALUAN BEACH... The place ia breathtaking specially in the morning where you can walk during low tide and just feel the fresh air...if you are willing to stay more this is a plus...sadly though we want to stay for another night to enjoy the beach we have to get off at 11am for other itineraries...like visiting other places...the accomodation are okey qe stay in one room good for 6 we just asked for 2 additional beds since they only have 2 doubled size bed...the food are buffet you can really practice eating like a king...and again they accept us even though we came late for accomodation...well of course we already paid for it though...all in all its a good place to stay...

Great place to go see. A little sand bar with a wooden sign. Go see get a photo. Nothing else to do here. A must do to say you have been for sure. We had 1 hour to spend here but only spent about 15mins.

It’s such a shame to see a beautiful beach and town turned into a dump.
So surprised when we got here. Reviews and pictures certainly looked decent enough. However this place is awful. About time we checked out and went somewhere (anywhere) better than this.

We stopped by here while staying at a resort on the island.
We spent maybe an hour there and took a few photos (no flash)
The Tarsiers are funny little things and I would be surprised if they could survive nowadays without protection.
    Worth a visit.
I imagine that kids would love them.

Most of the day was low tide so we had to walk far before we were able to swim. But the beach was nice and clean. There was a lot of sea urchin and starfish tho so watch out.

While on scooters heading back to Alona Beach we stopped at this church. It is well worth a visit. They were decorating for a wedding but we still were allowed in to see. Very ornate for the location.

This experience was really amazing. We spontaneously went for a introduction dive (our first time ever diving) with our dive master Sephus - just the most professional, collected and friendly guy. We liked the experience so much that we decided to go for the the PADI open water certification the very next day with the same dive master. Needless to say, this was the highlight of our vacation and can only recommend it!

The folks at Alona Divers are all pros but also accommodating to your needs. Sephus is not only a very good and patient instructor, but also great at pointing out cute marine life and helping us take pictures and videos during the dives. Special thanks to instructor Jun too!

Very friendly, professional and familiar atmosphere.
You can learn a lot about free-diving and also have some fun or a chat in around the pool.

I especially enjoyed my wonderful and competent instructor Rea and the support I got from all the staff when needed.

    Thank you!
    Will be back <3

I have experienced great professionalism from start to finish at Haka Dive Center, Panglao, Bohol, Philippines. The service and communication were perfect; they are true dive masters. It's a pleasure to meet such enthusiastic people who have clearly found their purpose in life.

Thank you very much for the excellent experience, safety, and fun. I will certainly come again and will recommend a visit to everybody.

We love everything about Piratas which is why we come back again and again !!! Nothing is ever too much trouble and we always have the best time.We have been to many dive schools but this is the best by far both in terms of customer care and what you get to experience on dives and we can’t wait to be back !!

Customer service was fantastic! We were a one diver and one non-diver walk-in. Too many dive shops are fronted by salesmen. I was walking around to various dive shops asking questions to vet each of them. Tropical Divers was courteous, professional and accommodating. I dove five times over three days. Each day they gave me a rough window to arrive in and when I arrived we departed when I was ready.

There is a short trip to the beach on one of their vehicles. They haul the gear to the boat and then we are diving within a few minutes. On all three days I had the divemaster, Jayson as my dive partner and no one else on the dive. If another party was on the boat they dove separately with another dive master. Jayson had a Go Pro that he used to take pictures/video of me with turtles, etc. When we got back to the shop he forwarded them to my phone at no charge. I was expecting a hustle of some type regarding the pics but there wasn't any. It was legitimate high quality customer service. Thanks, Jayson!

It was efficient, quick and easy. When the boat returned to shore, the divers were whisked back to the shop with their gear and the crew returned to get the tanks, etc from the boat.

The dive prices were less than all the other shops I queried. They even let the non-diver snorkel for free. I did not stay at their resort so I cannot comment but there is a really nice cafe next to it. It is not difficult to walk into the city center from the resort but trikes are plentiful if you don't want to. I had no concerns regarding safety in the area. I am from the US and had no issue communicating with the staff. I highly recommend this operation.

Met Ned on Scuba board. I was looking for a less crowded dive experience. We had great dives and enjoyed diving with Valm Divers. We dove 2 Islands over 2 days of diving and the crew was very accommodating and friendly. I would recommend diving with this outfit!

Didier and his team are great, they catered to our needs. We avoided crowded places. Everything was very well planned. They provide all the gear for snorkelling and scuba diving. Very safe with kids.
Didier also gave us great advise on where to eat and what to visit on the island.
    We highly recommend it!
