Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One of the best nature reserves to visit. I've seen owls 3 types, fox Cubs, dragonflies lots of birdlife. Finches, birds of prey warblers etc. I visit all year round. Also Lisa's butty van does the best Bacon Rolls

Visited due to visiting friends near by and we both had energetic kids who needed energy to burn which this place offered. Even though the outside area was wet and damp, ensure your well dressed and there’s still enough the play with. Making your own den is definitely a must. The 2 zip lines were good too. The indoor play area is very natural focused and holistic which interested my 2 boys for the whole time. We booked on the science talk which was engaging. We also made use of the other activities put on by staff who were very friendly. There is a cafe that we used, good choice for kids. But there wasn’t many options for a light lunch option. I would like to return when the weather is warmer and the outside fields are drier as I am sure there’s a lot more fun.

This statue was erected to celebrate the fact that Brough town was once a Roman settlement originally named Peturia. The statue is slightly abstract and depicts a Roman Warrior, but actually looks like a member of the undead.

The Brough War Memorial was erected in memory of the men of Brough who made the ultimate sacrifice in the two world wars. The monument is a Latin cross with a sword and laurel wreath carved on the face of the cross in high relief. A wall of honour is behind the cross and inscribed with the roll of honour.

Booked through web site , when we arrived pub in darkness !! Phoned from car park and Suzi came out to let us in. Apparently Mondays is preferred day not to open in Newport . Anyway shown to our room , what a surprise, absolutely fantastic. I knew the place had undergone an overhaul, but the standard was over and above what I expected. Left next morning without seeing Suzi ,she had appointments to go to with her mother, left a note to say thanks and reinforcing that with this review. Would stay again if in the area

We hadn't been here before, even though friends live nearby. It was a Sunday afternoon kiddies party, but the place was lovely, as it had been recently refurbished. Plenty of seating, and with a full bar available, and tvs to watch the sports on, a nice place to have an event if you live nearby. And with plenty of parking too! It was a hit with us and the parents and birthday boy!

Went for an alpaca walk in August. It was really good fun, being able to feed them all before starting the walk meant we could get to know them a bit. We were introduced to them and their personalities and given the opportunity to choose which one we wanted to walk. I enjoyed learning about the different animals and their histories, even the ones we weren't taking for walks.
We hadn't realised when we booked, but we also got to meet some of the other animals and feed them. Liked the gift shop, too!
