What travellers are saying
- Marsha S2 contributionsMomo was a very attentive tour guide to Fabric Town in Tokyo. She took the time to explain the history prior to the walking tour. As we shopped for fabric she provided a guide to assist with conversion.Written 12 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dd me80 contributionsLovely little theme park for family with young kids. We have problem at the ticket machine as it was only in Japanese but the staff kindly help us. We got the whole day ticket, so we can ride as much as we want. All the rides were fun and the queue was not too long. Our favourites were the carousell, spinning teacups and of course the ferris wheel. There were many benches and tables for people to picnic. The cafe sells nice hot snacks like hotdog and fried rice. Check their website to know if there is any show during weekend. Their petting zoo was nice and the animals are well kept. We had a great time here.Written 29 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- OldjackGreater Melbourne, Australia27,929 contributionsArakawa is an old part of Tokyo and worthy of a look as it is different to the more modern parts of the city. Access is easy by train. Yuyake Dandan leads to Yanaka Shopping Street which is narrow with many small stalls and shops and different.Written 13 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dr. ShibuyakkoCalifornia43,176 contributionsIf you want to experience the daily life of down to earth people of Tokyo, visit this shopping street in the old slam of Sanya. Go hungry and get great street food such as tempura on a stick , fried squid, croquette, etc, etc. It's really enjoyable.Written 8 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. An information board explains how they managed to replace the Buddha after the 2011 earthquake. It's quite interesting the way they have worked the railway around the site. Surely more interest if I could read the boards but I can't. Five minutes of contemplation, a couple of pics, then on to your destination.Written 22 November 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. To get there take the tram from Oji and go three stops. The display is not large and not that impressive but worth a look.Written 11 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
