Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lily was amazing. She was so knowledgeable and prepared. She showed us around the fish market with ease and answered all of our questions about the fish market and Japan in general. This was one of three tours we have taken (we are still on our trip) and the only one I would recommend. Thank you so much Lily.

Yuri was amazing! She showed us everything that we asked for & more. She took the time to teach us about the subway. She was very kind to my daughter who wasn’t feeling well. We would take a tour with her again.

The market food was amazing and the tour was very fun. It was enough time to eat, walk around, sightsee, and ask a ton of cultural questions. Hitomi was a great host!

Brilliant way to see Tokyo on an electric bike and get your bearings of an area of the city. Our guide Ninja was very informative and provided a quality safety briefing. The tour was at a gentle pace taking account of your cycling ability in our case my wife has not ridden a bike for 20 yrs and we are both in our 60s. There was time for photos and you visit places you may not find yourself.
So enjoyable we booked another cycle tour when visiting Hiroshima a week later. Weather was also in our favour.

This tour was the perfect way to see Tokyo! Gaku was an amazing tour guide and we so appreciated the rest stops and water on a very sunny day. It was such a cool experience to bike around the city like the locals, and while taking in the views!! 10/10!

    Moishe was the best!

This was our first time in Tokyo, so the tour we picked seemed to be the most comprehensive for a one-day option, but man, were we blown away!!

Our guide/driver (Moishe) was early to pick us up, super friendly, very informative, and really flexible. (By the way, when I say “super friendly,” what I mean was that we now have a friend in Tokyo!)

We 100% recommend this tour and couldn’t be happier with the sights, sounds, tastes, and understanding of Tokyo brought to us by our friend Moishe!

I booked this particular tour because most other tours charged per person while this tour was a set price for our group. Prior to the tour, I received a message from City Tour Tokyo asking for our participant names so that they could enter the tuna auction lottery on our behalf. The day prior, Emi, our tour guide, sent me a WhatsApp message to coordinate the next morning's tour. Then morning of the tour, Emi picked the 5 of us up directly from our hotel via a nice taxi van. Once at Toyosu, we were able to view the tuna auction from the lower deck (we won the tuna auction lottery) and received loads of interesting information from Emi and the Toyosu guide (as translated by Emi). My father, being an avid fisherman himself, asked a bunch of questions and had a pretty long info session with the Toyosu guide through Emi. Post the lower deck tour, Emi took us to the restaurant section of Toyosu where we had a delicious lunch at a restaurant recommended by her. We also had a great conversation (again, as translated by Emi) with the restaurant owner. After lunch, Emi took us to a market at Toyosu where she recommended various specialty souvenirs for us to purchase. (Note: As a result of the rain, we skipped Tsukiji altogether.)

Overall, our family was able to learn a lot about Toyosu, the tuna auction process, received many recommendations and had a great lunch all thanks to Emi!

Miho was an outstanding guide! She communicated with us prior to the trip, and we were able to tell her the specific sites we wanted to see. She guided us through Tsukiji Fish Market, Yanaka and the Imperial Palace area. Miho answered our questions, navigated the subway system with us, and taught us so much. We highly recommend both Miho and this experience, it is so worth it!
