The kids (7 & 12) did a class 5 walk and loved the climbing, walking through water and running streams and climbing up and down the ladders.
We loved our family trip there and I'd definitely go again!

Walking along the base of the gorge was interesting, lots of cool rocks to climb and jump off for the kids, and beautiful scenes of water reflecting the rock faces.

In the meantime my husband and kids were browsing the store and found several souvenirs to buy, and many books to browse as well as information about the area to read.
Washing machine, microwave etc. Flat screen tv for the kids and clean rooms.

Being new to the area we stopped in at the Karratha visitor centre for some advice and information about kid friendly swimming places.
The staff were very friendly and chatted to our children about their experiences on the road.

From the great beach area, protected swimming area, great BBQ area with playground for the kids, fishing the creek, you would be hard pressed to find better place to spend the day.

This is a great spot to show kids marine wildlife such as snails, corals, small octopuses, crabs, etc. water colours are amazing.
Vehicle access fee is $20 but if you are camping you only have to pay this once and then there are various charges per person depending on whether an adult , child or senior.
