Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We enjoyed a walk along this beach and back, it was calm and relaxing. We saw a couple of dog walkers and one family during our time there.
The beach is Sandy so would be nice in warmer weather for kids to play.

Small beach, no shop open during our visit, toilets up on the road, think they were 30p to use.
Beach was clean and Sandy, no bins, these are on the main roads.

We took a lovely stroll on here via the Coast Path route from the Haven site we were staying on. Starting on the road, we following the route down to the bridge, then through the wooded area, alongside the stream down to the beach and from there, onto the beach. Again a wet and wild day! But more from the sea spray and wind than rain!. Lovely walk, although we were unable to get to New Quay on the beach and headed back up the steps to the site again. Lots of people enjoying the bracing sea air with us, including dog walkers and ramblers of all ages!

Very friendly and knowledgeable crew made for a great 90 minute trip. Lots of wildlife to see. Wear warm clothes as its cold out in the bay at this time of year. Well recommended

Another great trip on Ermol. We were lucky enough to see a number of dolphins and seabirds. Even if you don't see the dolphins, it's still good to see the coastline from a boat. We've been visiting the area for most of the last 39 years and a trip on Ermol is always a highlight. Thanks to everyone, especially the crew, who are always so friendly and knowledgeable.

Nothing's a given with wildlife, but this trip, with the staff and the organisation, made it special - whatever we saw!

Even so, we did get a glimpse of some seals, their pups, and a pod of dolphins!

Really great experience all round, would highly recommend.

Our three girls (2x10 & 1x13) took part in the KIDS’ SPLASH FUN on Easter Sunday morning for a 2 hour session. The water was freezing (as you would expect at this time of year), but with the wetsuits and boots on, they wanted to stay longer and can't wait to go back and have another session. A 6 to 1 children to instructor ratio was perfect and they had amazing fun. Thanks to the staff who made them feel welcome and gave them memories they will always remember. 5*
